On staff, and a big hit with our clients, is makeup artist extraordinaire Marti Dodson.
Marti has performed nationally in the Columbus-based rock band Saving Jane, and more recently with the Union Rose Band. Marti has trained under several makeup professionals to learn how to do makeup for stage and the performance arts. She says, “I am passionate about makeup and making women feel beautiful, and I know what looks good on different people as well as what looks good on camera.”
Cherie offers her services – and Marti’s – not only to clients living in the Columbus area (Dublin, Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Gahanna, Bexley, Grandview Heights, Reynoldsburg, etc.), but also for anyone in Ohio, including Cleveland, Cincinnati, Mansfield, Marysville, Dayton, Springfield, Sandusky and Canton. We also have served clients from the surrounding states (New York, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania) and Florida, too.

Studio Offers Boudoir Sensual Women’s Photography

Professional photographer Cherie Luckoff finds nothing shocking about her choice of subject matter. Neither do her clients, who hire her to take glamorous and boudoir sensual photos of them. In fact, many clients, she says, consider it flattering to be photographed in a way that they’ve only seen portrayed in the pages of fine art magazines or displayed in galleries.
Luckoff is the owner of Cherie’s Studio in Columbus, Ohio where she’s worked as a professional photographer for 17 years. Her services include artistic bridal and maternity photography – a la Demi Moore as she appeared nude on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine in 1991 while seven months pregnant. Luckoff ventured into more boudoir sensuous photography for women when her clients began requesting her services.
Luckoff graduated from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in art education and taught children’s programs at the Columbus College of Art and Design. She studied photography under world renowned photographer Ken Marcus, a 10-year veteran photographer for Playboy magazine. This opened the doors for her success in her desire to specialize in Boudoir Sensuous Photography for women.
[One of] Luckoff’s makeup artist/hair stylists has experience prepping Victoria’s Secret models. [She] helped develop the MAC line, which stands for Makeup Art Cosmetics, and is one of the leading brands in professional makeup. [She] is available to demonstrate makeup application for Luckoff’s boudoir sensuous clients.
A sensuous boudoir photography session involves several outfits and set changes and takes about two hours. Luckoff’s boudoir sensuous photos are tastefully choreographed with her subjects often surrounded by delicate, feminine settings including rose petals for that perfect boudoir sensuous touch.”We come up with the ideas together,” Luckoff said of the process between the client and photographer. “I finish the posing and design the lighting around you.”Luckoff will digitally shoot about 80 boudoir sensuous images, which are immediately available for review.

I recently went to Cherie’s Studio for a Boudoir Photo Session. I wanted to surprise my husband on our 21st Wedding Anniversary with some sexy photos. Cherie did a wonderful job from beginning to end. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had a great time. I did a variety of sets and poses. I had so many photos to select from for my album. I can’t wait to present it to my husband. Cherie also gave me military discount, since my husband is recently retired from the military.

My husband and I are active duty Air Force in England, and I decided that I wanted to give my husband something special before I deployed. I did a search for sensual photography and out of all the sites I saw Cherie’s Studio was the most professional and had a lot of information regarding the photo session. When I contacted her, Cherie was really helpful - especially given that I’m stationed in England and had to do alot of planning in secret (as to not spoil the surprise). When I arrived for my shoot, Cherie helped me so much with outfits and posing. My wife, Kendra Peters, had some photos taken at your studios a few months ago.
She just presented an album of them to me on our anniversary. The photographs
are…well, I’m having trouble coming up with the right word…how about INCREDIBLE!
When she gave them to me, I was speechless. (This is a big deal, as I was a DJ for 15

Recently, I read an article that 50 is the new 40. I believe this. As a 50+ woman, I have slowly learned that there are no limits to my potential. 50 is exhilarating. My children are grown, I have hopes to begin a new business and life seems full of potential.
Of course, I have heeded the advice of every fitness magazine and followed a 3 a week workout regime. I also practice healthy, nutritious eating habits and enjoy walking, swimming, yoga practices and dancing on a regular basis.
Recently, I watched “The Bucket List”. This inspired me to try to live every day to the fullest, follow my dreams and “live every day like you were dying”. I want to experience all that life has to offer, spend time everyday showering my family and friends with pure love and try to find true bliss in every moment.

My wife, Jennifer, surprised me (actually made me speechless, hard to do) with your amazing photos of her. The pictures capture her as I see her every day, but certainly not as she sees herself. She had noted that she had taken many more photos than were in the album.
